While most of us struggle, often mightily, to craft a single poem, this course will center on the work of crafting and designing a collection of poetry. We will examine the process and the challenges of creating a collection that hangs together thematically, and how that might impact the writing process. We will also talk about design aspects that profoundly influence the reader's experience of the book.
